Premiere issue of THE HACKER FILES, Featuring lavish full color artwork printed on high quality paper!

Computers brought with them the prospect for revolution—revolution in information, that most important of all sources of power. Business, the military, and governments sought to use computers for their own ends. But for “hackers” like Jack Marshall, the only true safety lay in distributing their power as widely as possible.

Marshall is an anarchist—or at least someone who doesn’t trust those in power to use it for the best. His own way of rebelling is to break into computer systems. This has made him some powerful enemies, but it has also put him in contact with a sort of “digital underground” of freethinkers around the globe. These contacts have led Jack on adventures involving everything from “push-button war” among the generals to saving refugees from the repressive government of Red China and the Tienanmen Square massacre of 1989.

Editor George (Kimota!) Khoury has assembled rare strips, scripts, artwork and photographs of the author, most never published before.

Included are the rare Moore stories "Pictopia," "Lust," his unseen work on Judge Dredd, and more! ! This is the definitive autobiographical work on Moore, over two years in the making!

Moore reflects on his life and work in an insightful and candid fashion through an extensive series of interviews about his entire legendary career, including new interviews.

* Paperback: 224 pages
* Publisher: TwoMorrows Publishing (August 6, 2002)
* Language: English
* ISBN-10: 1893905241
* ISBN-13: 978-1893905245

Khoury marks Alan Moore's exalted status in the comics world on the occasion of Moore's fiftieth birthday. The centerpiece of the volume is a lengthy interview with the reclusive writer, touching upon everything from his early days as an aspiring comics fan to his recently announced retirement from mainstream comics. More compelling, perhaps, is the bounty of rare material reprinted here, ranging from strips a teenaged Moore wrote--and drew (!)--for the British music press to obscure stories, photographs, and examples of his famously detailed scripts. Tributes from some of Moore's most renowned friends and collaborators, including Neil Gaiman, Dave Gibbons, Brian Bolland, Rick Veitch, and Alex Ross, round out the text, and a comprehensive bibliography of Moore's work should delight collectors even as it makes them despair of ever acquiring all the prolific writer's publications. This celebration of comics' most acclaimed author should prove exhaustive enough to satisfy even the most obsessed of Moore's legion of fans.

HIGHLANDER COMIC BOOKS.

Collector's Item!
AN ADVENTURE FEATURING HIGHLANDER CONNER MACLEOD (FROM THE MOVIES) AND HIS COUSIN DUNCAN MACLEOD (THE HIGHLANDER OF THE TV SERIES).

With lavish, full color artwork printed on high quality glossy paper!

In the movie Highlander, wandering immortals gained supernatural power by beheading their fellows in personal combat. Their ultimate goal was the Gathering, when the most powerful battled to be the sole survivor and thus gain ultimate power. Eventually, Connor MacLeod, the Highlander, defeated the vicious Kurgan, fulfilling the legend that “there can be only One” and gaining God-like abilities in the process.

Picking up after the movie, this series furthers Connor’s story. But with a handful of immortals still live (apparently, “…only One” was metaphorical), is a new Gathering already in the works?

Extremely popular, the original movie generated two sequels, two television series, an animated TV series, and several books. This series is a refreshing return to basics.

a special New Year's Eve tale of immortal love... and loss! Also featuring the first Dynamite Comics appearance of Duncan MacLeod!
