AIRBOY #5 COMIC BOOK. FEATURING THE LATE DAVE STEVENS' LEGENDARY VALKYRIE COVER!
Featuring characters such as Iron Ace, Skywolf, Misery, and Wolfmark, Airboy has the action and style of an old Buck Rogers serial. At the same time it goes places that Buck would never have gone, such as to Bogantilla, a dictatorship strikingly familiar to certain Central American countries. In this and other adventures, Airboy faces not only the traditional super-bad guys, but also the more down-to-earth evils of civil war, corrupt and oppressive governments, and the cold-war clashing of third-world armies used as pawns by the world’s super-powers.

This is an extremely rare issue, published in 1986 by ECLIPSE COMICS.

Highly sought after.

RARE and OUT OF PRINT! Impossible to find!

WILDCATS X-MEN THE GOLDEN AGE #1!!
ILLUSTRATED BY TRAVIS CHAREST! COVER BY JIM LEE.

this title time travels back to WWII in an unusual story involving X-Men’s Logan (later to become Wolverine), and the assassin Zealot from WildC.A.T.S. Not yet equipped with his adamantium claws, Logan uses guns to blow away Nazis as he tries to steal a scroll. He meets Zealot inside of a French castle occupied by Nazis and discovers she is on the same mission as well. Through Zealot, Logan also learns that evil creatures, the Daemonites, have joined the Nazis, and the scroll actually has a spell that can revive a powerful dead Daemonite. Together Logan and Zealot fight the Daemonites; Zealot even gives Logan claws as a weapon. French artist Travis Charest provides the book with a moody European look that is neither characteristic of X-Men nor WildC.A.T.S.

It is a very high quality package, with his art reproduced on heavy semi-glossy paper stock.

HERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERIES #1 COMIC BOOK

COLLECTORS ITEM FIRST ISSUE.

The consistent appeal of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s master sleuth, Sherlock Holmes, is borne out by another attempt to portray his obvious cerebral reputation in a medium usually more suited to action-oriented scenes. Depictions of Holmes and his faithful companion, Dr. Watson, interviewing and investigating, require an artistic style that excels at facial diversity and interesting layouts which can make a “talking heads” scene visually exciting.

This black and white series from Moonstone features art that has been reproduced directly from pencil drawings rather than inked artwork. The various artists generate engaging layouts.

Gather your wits about you and get ready for action, because the legendary detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is back on the case! With his longtime friend, the rather dense Dr. Watson, London sleuth Sherlock Holmes uses his amazing skills of observation and deduction to solve some of the most daring and clever crimes of the century. Often, Holmes and Watson are consulted on cases that baffle even Scotland Yard, much to the chagrin of the jealous inspector Lestrade. There is one criminal that Holmes has never been able to catch, however. At the heart of London’s criminal underworld is a man whose genius rivals his own, the nefarious and dangerous Professor Moriarty!

See Rick Jones as a hip teenager, daddio! Gape at that square Bruce Banner! Gasp at the Hulk’s purple pants! Wonder why he’s colored grey! And boo, hiss, and snarl at those “commie ratfink infiltrators!” Yes, it’s 1962 and gamma bomb time in New Mexico for the origin of the Hulk by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, drawing heavily on the monster short stories they’d been knocking out together for the previous few years.
