THE PHANTOM 3 COMIC BOOKS COMPLETE #1-3 LEE FALK GHOST WHO WALKS KING FEATURES!!

LEE FALK'S THE PHANTOM 3 COMIC BOOKS #1-#3. COMPLETE SERIES THE GHOST WHO WALKS Deep in the jungle of equatorial Africa, an enigmatic purple-clad man has achieved legendary status as a protector of the innocent, and the scourge of evil. The Phantom is believed to be immortal, and so is called the Ghost Who Walks. In reality the Phantom is an identity handed down from father to son for 400 years. Incredibly, each Phantom not only sired a son, but a son that agreed to join the “family business” to avenge the death of the first Phantom’s father at the hands of pirates. Lee Falk, who previously created Mandrake the Magician, scored again with this mysterious jungle-based hero. The Phantom was one of the first costumed adventurers, debuting in newspaper comic pages in 1936. This three-issue mini-series from Marvel, in 1995, featured art by Glenn Lumsden with coloring by the writer, Dave DeVries. Published by MARVEL Comics. An EXTREMELY RARE item!! This item was not available in any mass market retail outlet and could only be found in comic book specialty stores. phan

THE PHANTOM #1 COMIC BOOK GHOST WHO WALKS LEE FALK DC FANTOMAS FANTOMET 1988 OOP

THE PHANTOM #1 COMIC BOOK.

First issue Collector's Item!

When people speak of “the law of the jungle,” they are usually referring to a state of primal anarchy. But the jungles of Bandalla do have a law—one that supersedes tribal warfare, government corruption, or rebel insurgencies. For even the most callous criminals know that to ply their trade in Bandalla means to risk the wrath of the Ghost Who Walks—the Phantom.

Lee Falk’s classic hero is a refreshing symbol of good battling evil in today’s more cynical comic scene. Urged on by the success of The Phantom, DC launched this ongoing Phantom title in 1989.
