From a far away land rises a mighty hero. The son of peasants from two different realms, the one known only as Barak protects the people of Hope Kingdom at all costs.
According to THE MADDOWIAN CHRONICLES he was the one destined to save the great republic of America and dethrone the overpaid despots of the time. Join Barack, Sorceress Hilaria, her demi-god trickster husband Biil, Overlord Boosh and Chainknee of the Elephant Kingdom. Who can the lone barbarian trust, if anyone?
Barack escapes from the horrific Pit of Punditry and battles his way past eldritch threats and byzantine obstacles to reach the pinnacle of the Elephant Tower whilst The Old Warrior and Red Sarah nip at his heels. At the top of the tower Boosh and his evil vizier cast down spells and aspersions.
Larry Hama (G.I. Joe, Wolverine) takes political satire to a whole new level. Hama, will take a look at the current state of politics both past and present and isn't afraid to point fun at Washinton's sacred cows. In the distant future the story of Barack Obama has become a little... distorted.

Frank Frazetta (born 1928) is an American fantasy and science fiction artist. He is one of the most emulated artists of these genres in the world. His cover for the sword-and-sorcery collection Conan the Adventurer by Robert E. Howard and L. Sprague de Camp (Lancer 1966) caused a sensation—numerous people bought the book for its cover alone. This interpretation of Conan essentially redefined the genre of Sword and Sorcery visually and had an enormous influence on succeeding generations of artists. From this point on, Frazetta's work was in great demand. During this period he also did covers for other paperback editions of classic Edgar Rice Burroughs books, such as those from the Tarzan and Barsoom (John Carter of Mars) series. He also did several pen and ink illustrations for many of these books.
* Featuring mostly colour reproductions of many of the famous paintings by probably the best fantasy artist ever.
* Included are many paintings which were featured on the covers of the WARREN horror magazines CREEPY, EERIE and VAMPIRELLA, and also on the paperback versions of the Robert E. Howard CONAN books.
Frazetta's work has graced album covers and book jackets. In this second volume you'll see some of his finest. His techniques for drawing your attention to primary and secondary points of interest in his works are done beautifully like a photographer uses light. His works are lush and sensual, celebrating the human anatomy like the ancient Greeks. The facial expressions of his subjects convey intensity, strength, and will. A few of these poems were published in 1929 in an obscure poetry magazine published in Oklahoma (only 500 copies). Included in this 1995 edition are poems of bitterness, love, controversy, history, the meaninglessness of life and, of course, fantasy and horror with the indellible Howard stamp.
