Who is the only pilot to be in both assaults on the Death Stars? Most Star Wars fans answer Luke Skywalker. The right answer, however is Wedge Antilles, Luke’s childhood friend who left to join the Rebellion. This series chronicles Wedge’s adventures after the Alliance’s victory.

In the opening story arc, “The Rebel Opposition,” Wedge and three others are ordered to escort a cargo ship from the planet Cilpar. Before they even clear Cilpar, they find a dozen Imperial tie fighters waiting for them. The only explanation for the ambush is that someone is leaking information about their activities. As the story unfolds, the only thing that’s clear is that the situation on Cilpar is far more complicated than Wedge had expected. Rumors abounded that the Alliance had made a deal with the Empire to quash a local rebellion. Although it had come seeking refuge, the Rogue Squadron found itself caught in a three-way war.
