ALIEN NATION #1 COMIC BOOK!

RARE and OUT OF PRINT. HARD TO FIND COLLECTOR'S ITEM.

Alien Nation was first a movie, then a science-fiction television show in the late 1980s. Rather than the usual conflicts associated with aliens from another planet, this series concerned itself with the kinds of problems aliens from another country might encounter: prejudice, hatred, and ridicule. The series used the Newcomers (as the aliens were called) and their struggles as social commentary, and thereby told stories of depth and symbolism.

In A Breed Apart (with inking by Jimmy Palmiotti, before he hit it big with Ash), the Newcomers have integrated themselves into many levels of society. Log b’Omen, a Newcomer, is a Los Angeles police detective partnered with Wayne Hadenfeldt, a human with 20 years on the force. Friar Haddish, another Newcomer, is consolidating his power as head of an organized crime cartel. On one level, this is a cops-and-robbers story, but the addition of alien characters gives it an important added dimension.

PLANET OF THE APES VS ALIEN NATION
APE NATION #1 COMIC BOOK!

RARE and OUT OF PRINT. HARD TO FIND COLLECTOR'S ITEM.

This series unites two of the most popular science-fiction “worlds” together in Adventure Comics’ first color series. It begins when a Tenctonese (the aliens of Alien Nation) ship lands on the Planet of the Apes—a world where apes have become intelligent and have overthrown the humans as rulers of the world. Once there, the alien leader, a tyrant called Denada the Destroyer forms an alliance between General Ollo of the apes, and Simon, of the surviving humans. Their goal: to take this world as their own.

Against them are arrayed an earnest, but motley collection of aliens, apes, and humans. Still, this band seems to stand little chance of stopping the Denada’s well-organized troops from marching on Ape City.

PLANET OF THE APES #1 COMIC BOOK! APE CITY

SEQUEL SERIES!

RARE and OUT OF PRINT. HARD TO FIND COLLECTOR'S ITEM.

Witness the more advanced Ape Civilizations of Europe!

Mixing monkey gangsters, ninja apes, heavily armed human killers. The thrust of the plot is the chase for a crystal which powers the humans’ craft, but also offers unlimited energy for the apes.

In the “Planet of the Apes” movies, man started by keeping apes as pets and servants. One day, an ape called Caesar spoke a single word that changed history. The word was “No!”

The apes revolted against their human masters. Generations later, man would have reverted to an unspeaking animal-like state, and apes would have built a new civilization. Although not as technically advanced as the human civilization had been, the ape society would be superior in at least one way: its insistence that ape would never kill ape.

LOGAN'S RUN 4 COMIC BOOKS!

Including #1collector's time first issue!
Faithfully adapted from the original novels by WILLIAM F NOLAN.

OUT OF PRINT. HARD TO FIND COLLECTOR'S ITEM.

Malibu Graphics (Adventure Comics) signed a deal with William F. Nolan to adapt his books to the comic format. The story adaptation was fantastic! The theme was very much in keeping with the novels and the story had a great pace! Much of his original text was used as well.

The story is set in a future where population concerns result in the ultimate in self-indulgent youth culture. Amidst all the fun, a crystal flower implanted in each citizen’s hand glows a color that marks off the days of his or her life. When they reach the age of 22, the crystal changes color from red to black, and the citizen must enter a “sleepshop,” and partake in what amounts to organized mass suicide. Understandably, some people look for a way out and run instead. When that happens, it’s up to the policemen, called Sandmen, to track them down and end their lives by force.

Runners dream of freedom in a place called “Sanctuary.” The Sandman Logan-3 is assigned to infiltrate the runner network and discover Sanctuary’s location. To further motivate him, his own crystal is turned black before its time. Once a Sandman, now Logan himself must run.

RE-ANIMATOR 3 COMIC BOOKS. #1, #2, and #3.

The complete series!

COLLECTOR'S ITEM

BASED ON THE CULT FAVORITE RE-ANIMATOR FILM.

THRILL TO THE MISADVENTURES OF HERBERT WEST - MAD SCIENTIST FROM HP LOVECRAFT'S RE-ANIMATOR AND THE CULT FILM SERIES!

Re-Animator, one of the most popular horror movies of the 1980s, is a gore-fest about a scientist who brings the dead back to life.
Third year med student Daniel Cain was in desperate need of a roommate when wonder-boy Herbert West arrived at Miskatonic University in need of a place with a basement. Cain discovers Herbert’s theories on reviving once-living tissue are not highly thought of and considered too radical by mainstream science, so he experiments in private on whatever (or whoever) he can lay his hands on. The problem is, he’s too successful in finding out that someone’s will to live extends to every part of a person’s body, even if that part is no longer connected to the rest of it.

This mini-series is the color adaptation of the 1985 classic motion picture “Re-Animator,” which in turn was based on Howard Philips Lovecraft’s short story classic from the 1920’s “Herbert West-Reanimator.”

Herbert West is a new transfer to Miskatonic Medical College, having come all the way from Switzerland on a full-ride scholarship. Enigmatic West asks only for space to perform his experiments with no questions asked. Because West is researching the effects that death has on the brain...and how to keep those effects in check.

Published by ADVENTURE COMICS in 1991.

Highly sought after.

RE-ANIMATOR 4 COMIC BOOKS. #1, #2, #3 and #4.

Dawn of the Re-Animator Prequel Story.

Dawn of the Re-Animator is a prequel to the original movie. It's set right after the prologue of that film, but before Herbert West travels from Switzerland to America. Voodoo hougan (that's right: voodoo. In Switzerland); helicopters and zombies; ski-mobiles and kinky situations.

Re-Animator, one of the most popular horror movies of the 1980s, is a gore-fest about a scientist who brings the dead back to life. Dawn of the Re-Animator is a prequel to the movie, detailing the adventures of young Herbert West as he struggles not only to prove that his serum works, to avoid arrest for murder, and at the same time, to not lose his University funding!

West’s troubles begin when he uses the serum on his colleague Dr. Gruber, apparently dead from a heart attack. Unfortunately, there are some rather grisly and eye-popping (literally!) side-effects, none of which seem to include Gruber’s reanimation. This, of course, brings him into conflict with the police, the University’s Board of Inquiry, and Gruber’s estranged daughter.

Meanwhile, the powerful Erich Metler, a man obsessed with immortality, wants the secret of West’s formula, and has already unleashed his zombie thugs to retrieve it.

Painted cover by TONY HARRIS.

Published by ADVENTURE COMICS in 1992.

Highly sought after.
