GREEN HORNET #1 COMIC BOOK KATO BRUCE LEE VINTAGE 80's BLACK BEAUTY SUPERHERO!!!

GREEN HORNET #1 COMIC BOOK! Full Color comic book series. HARD TO FIND COLLECTORS ITEM The role of the Green Hornet has been handed down in the Reid Family since its inception with publisher Britt Reid assumed it in 1939 to battle gangsters. From there it went to Britt Reid II, then to Alan Reid in 1986 (killed on his first outing as the Hornet), and finally to Paul Reid in the present day. Eschewing tradition, this second Now Green Hornet series finds Paul increasingly comfortable in his role of pianist by day (breaking from the earlier era Britt Reids who were publishers) and crimefighter by night. The police, however, have grown embarrassed by the a vigilante who seems to keep showing them up. Using typical clear thinking, they’ve decided to devote the majority of their time and resources to catching the Hornet. As a result, the Green Hornet must now fight not just the criminals, but the police as well. This item was not available for sale in any mass market retail outlet and could only be found in comic book specialty stores.

BRUCE LEE 3 KATO COMIC BOOKS #1 GREEN HORNET KUNG FU MARTIAL ARTS VINTAGE RARE!!

BRUCE LEE KATO 3 COMIC BOOKS. #1
GREEN HORNET'S SIDEKICK PORTRAYED BY BRUCE LEE IN THE POPULAR 60'S TELEVISION SHOW OUT OF PRINT. HARD TO FIND COLLECTOR'S ITEM This title was Green Hornet sidekick Hayashi Kato’s series. Kato protects a capricious rock star from assassins. This series gives Kato a chance to show his capabilities as an adventure hero independent of the Green Hornet. Both Green Hornet fandom and martial arts fandom find a common meeting point here. Mike Baron writes a well-plotted action script, with an important message about personal responsibility. The fights are well-choreographed and cleanly illustrated by Val Mayerik. The Green Hornet’s sidekick, Hiyashi Kato, returns to Communist China in this four-part series. His phenomenal ability in the martial arts inspires the Communist government to use Kato as an actor in one of its propaganda films. Of course, Kato wants none of this, but he quickly finds out that he has no other choice but to comply. Martial arts and mysticism meet as Kato struggles to escape from the reach of the government, free friends from jail, and recover an artifact known as the Demon Sword. This comic book series was not sold in the mass markets, and only available in comic book specialty shops. Now you have the opportunity to own one of these highly sought after collector's items! RARE! Impossible to find and worth the price of admission!
