this title time travels back to WWII in an unusual story involving X-Men’s Logan (later to become Wolverine), and the assassin Zealot from WildC.A.T.S. Not yet equipped with his adamantium claws, Logan uses guns to blow away Nazis as he tries to steal a scroll. He meets Zealot inside of a French castle occupied by Nazis and discovers she is on the same mission as well. Through Zealot, Logan also learns that evil creatures, the Daemonites, have joined the Nazis, and the scroll actually has a spell that can revive a powerful dead Daemonite. Together Logan and Zealot fight the Daemonites; Zealot even gives Logan claws as a weapon. French artist Travis Charest provides the book with a moody European look that is neither characteristic of X-Men nor WildC.A.T.S.

A super fine sketchbook from Charest whose unique work is seen in the webcomic "Spacegirl." Charest came to prominence in the early 90s, following Jim Lee in the "WildC.A.T.s" project, and penciling comics written by comics legends James Robinson and Alan Moore. It was astonishing how quick he reinvented himself from an Image-style artist into a brilliant illustrator with his own very particular style, more influenced by the work of painterly and realistic artists such as Moebius and Frazetta, than by modern comic book storytelling. Charest has became one of the most sought after comic artists and we are pleased to be able to offer this fine look at his latest, fully finished illustrations in both b&w and full-color.

It is a very high quality package, with his art reproduced on heavy glossy paper stock.

Imported French hardcover Graphic Novel illustrated by Travis Charest.

Book is oversized (9.5 x 12.5) and shows off Travis' full-color work better than it's ever looked before.

Charest drew the cover, a pinup and pages 9 to 37), the art showcased inside show a degree of skills you have never seen from him before as he really wanted this to be his masterpiece. The rest of the 60 pages are drawn by Zoran Janetov and their style, though different, mesh really well as a whole. Written by Jodorowsky.

No such collection exists in the English language and is a french exclusive (meaning french text). If and when it will be published in North America, it will not likely be in such a large high quality format.
