Bram fought back, buying his father the time needed to escape. Bram was captured, however, and faced execution at the hands of the rat women. As it turned out, his ordeal was just beginning. SHERLOCK HOLMES VS DRACULA COMIC BOOK SCARLET IN GASLIGHT BRAM STOKER DETECTIVE!

SHERLOCK HOLMES VS DRACULA
SCARLET IN GASLIGHT COMIC BOOK

COLLECTORS ITEM FIRST ISSUE.

Two of literature’s most prominent characters meet in this black-and-white tale of horror. Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective Sherlock Holmes, and the ever-present Dr. Watson, are drawn into an adventure beyond anything they have ever experienced when they face the timeless evil of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Investigating a young woman’s mysterious illness, Holmes and Watson find her already under the care of Dr. Van Helsing, whose methods at first seem very odd. But when the two detectives find themselves battling her demonic attacker, they barely manage to survive. Unfortunately, the supremely logical mind of Sherlock Holmes is unable to reconcile his concept of reality with the obviously supernatural nature of his vampiric enemy. It appears that Dracula will have free rein to terrorize London, unless Watson and Van Helsing can bring Holmes back from the edge of insanity.

Vintage Collector's item published in 1992 by Topps Comics.

A fantastic comic book featuring an adaptation of the Frances Ford Coppela directed film Bram Stoker's Dracula, drawn by Mike Mignola, best known as the creator of Hellboy!

Vlad Dracula began life as a vicious and brutal Romanian prince who drove 30,000 Turks from Constantinople in the name of the church in 1462. But when his wife’s suicide forever damned her, he renounced God.

Hundreds of years later, in1897, a mysterious Count Dracula drew a young, ambitious lawyer named Jonathan Harker to a castle in Transylvania. If Harker can survive the strange creatures that inhabit the castle, he will return to Mina, his true love in London. However, Dracula is bound for London as well.

Scripted by comics legend Roy Thomas, with art by the stylistically dark Mike Mignola, the Coppola version of Dracula follows the Bram Stoker original more closely than earlier film versions of the tale. Each issue may also contain an “Inside Coppola’s Dracula” special feature with essays and photos related to the movie.
