HARD TO FIND COLLECTORS ITEM FOR FANS OF ALIENS AND BATMAN.
There are all kinds of killers. Some, like Gotham City’s Leo Brodin and Alex Yeager, are the “hands-off” type, mob bosses who order others to do their dirty work. Others, like the thugs they hire, have no such qualms and blindly follow their violent orders. Batman is used to dealing with all of these, but now he’ s up against something new: a killer of astonishing strength and savagery who hunts humans for the sheer joy of the blood sport.
Gotham’s mob rivalries had been intensifying for some time, with Brodin and Yeager eager to divide the town between them. But now this new player—a Predator from another world—has begun hunting Gotham’s power players. How can even Batman hope to stop a killer who is stronger than any man, kills using alien technology, and who can not even be seen with the naked eye?
A Predator is taking the heads and hands of boxers in Gotham, bringing him to Batman's attention. Batman's counting on his sonar unit and reflective body armor to provide an edge against the Predator. Script by Dave Gibbons. Pencils by Andy Kubert. Inks & letters by Adam Kubert.

Inspired by the longest-running science-fiction show in television history, Doctor Who spins new tales of the world’s favorite Timelord, as presented in Britain’s “Doctor Who Magazine.”
Traveling across time in his slightly-malfunctioning T.A.R.D.I.S. (a time machine that looks, in the Doctor’s case, like a blue police box), the Doctor constantly finds himself pitted against evil monsters of all shapes and sizes.
Intelligent and eccentric, this series mirrors the personality of the Doctor himself. It’s a must for any Doctor Who fan.

Brian Bolland (illustrator of Batman the Killing Joke) and Dave Gibbons cut their professional teeth on the Nigerian super-hero strip collected herein. Each issue features a story from both artists. The tales of Powerman (or Powerbolt as he was called for the U.S. market).
Gibbons said that an executive from a Nigerian advertising agency approached Bardon Press Features to discuss the idea of making a series with a black superhero; the man and his wife saw that in Nigeria, the comics available were imported and had White protagonists. Gibbons designed the character and the series logo and worked chores with Bolland. Gibbons said that he published one 14-page issue per month, which was published every two weeks (fourteen days and nights).
In 1988, Eclipse Comics republished the series but changed Powerman's name to Powerbolt. Powerman, who had a lot of strength and could fly, appeared in stories rendered in a simple style reminiscent of Fawcett Comics's Golden Age Captain Marvel. His only apparent weakness was snakebite.
