This volume is colored by Rachelle Menashe and Chris Chalenor. All wrapped up in a stunning new cover painting by Simon Bisley. This 1992 special collected and colorized the various Aliens appearances from Dark Horse Presents. The first of the five stories, “Theory of Alien Propagation,” is a primer to the Aliens’ ghastly breeding and hunting practices, speculating on their origins, and concluding with their threat to Earth. Paul Guinan and Anina Bennett’s two-part Aliens story is the most effective of the bunch, relating a treasure-hunting expedition into an Alien pyramid, only to find a terrible presence within the mausoleum. Simon Bisley-illustrated “Reapers” is perhaps the least effective, although it does boast Bisley’s trademark art, as well as a humorous flourish at the end.
