Now Comics’ Green Hornet series kicked off in 1989. The role of the Green Hornet has been handed down in the Reid Family since its inception with publisher Britt Reid assumed it in 1939 to battle gangsters. From there it went to Britt Reid II, then to Alan Reid in 1986 (killed on his first outing as the Hornet), and finally to Paul Reid in the present day.
A star of old-time radio and TV, the Green Hornet returns in this stylish comic series by Now Comics. In it, the mantle of the Green Hornet rests upon the shoulders of Paul Reid, nephew of Britt Reid, the original Green Hornet. Accompanied by his chauffeur and companion Kato (himself a descendent of the original Kato), he takes on crime in his city.
