NEIL GAIMAN RARE BIT FIENDS COMIC BOOK DREAMS RICK VIETCH ALICE COOPER SANDMAN!!
NEIL GAIMAN RARE BIT FIENDS COMIC BOOK!
RARE and OUT OF PRINT.
HARD TO FIND COLLECTORS ITEM FEATURING A STORY BY NEIL GAIMAN (WITH GUEST APPEARANCE BY ALICE COOPER)!
The dreamscape of the average person is a place rich with fantastic possibilities, but just imagine what that realm holds for a comic book creator? Artist Rick Veitch has revealed the inner workings of his overly creative mind in his series Rare Bit Fiends. Veitch’s comic was largely an homage to the classic comic strip by Winsor McCay (Little Nemo in Slumberland) that ran throughout the early part of the 20th Century in which readers viewed a character’s wild dream ending with the line ‘I’ll never eat rare bit again!’ but the creator was also deeply interested in the meaning of dreams and what they meant to the conscious mind.
This comic book was never available in any mass market retail outlets and could only be found in comic book specialty stores that ordered limited quantities of it at the time (if they even bothered to order it at all!).
It has never been reprinted.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
