Dave McKean is one of the more wicked-cool artists working in popular culture today. His massive 496-page project, Cages, was just re-released by NBM Publishing, and he is one of the inspired comic works out there today.
He has famously collaborated with Neil Gaiman on Signal To Noise, Violent Cases, Mr. Punch and their new children's book, Coraline. He is also a prolific album cover creator.
