Squee is a fictional character in Jhonen Vasquez's comic book Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, who later received his own four-issue series, published by Slave Labor Graphics.
This series focuses on a young boy named Todd Casil, otherwise known as Squee. A quiet, introverted, and bullied little kid with a less than supportive family, Squee has been forced to mature a bit more quickly than his peers. He is fond of writing, but only receives criticism from his teacher and taunting from his classmates. Any attempts he makes to deflect these hostilities only results in being shoved into the dirt or otherwise further humiliated. Squee's mother is addicted to some form of pill, possibly prescription pain killers (it is never specified), and spends a lot of time lying around in a nearly incoherent state. She often forgets who Squee is, or that she even has a child. His father, painfully aware of Squee's existence, loathes the boy and never forgets to mention that he blames Squee for 'ruining' his life (obviously he found nothing positive in parenthood).
Squee also has a grandfather who justifiably believes his children are only waiting for him to die to collect some kind of inheritance. His grandfather claims to keep healthy and young by consuming his children's first-borns, and subsequently attempts to devour Squee, only to reveal in horrifying fashion that he is, in fact a cyborg and quite possibly insane. Squee's next door neighbor is Johnny C, aka "Nny" (pronounced knee), the main character of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. "Nny" regularly visits Squee late at night by breaking into his room. JTHM focused more on the 'mentoring' or 'big brother' aspect of "Nny" and Squee's relationship, but little interaction occurs in Squee!, aside from the occasional drawing or note left in Squee's room, or short references to 'the crazy neighbor man'.
Squee has only one friend, albeit a possibly imaginary one, the dilapidated teddy bear affectionately referred to as Shmee.

Stack's fluid line and strong compositional skills in both single panels and whole pages do much to grab and hold us as Pekar and Brabner re-create the awful year when, having already decided to move from the apartment they had lived in for 10 years (and he for 9 more before) to a house, she became involved in a complicated project, and he undertook grueling chemotherapy for cancer. It's doubtful that any medium other than the comics could make the commonly unusual ingredients of their story--suffering drug side effects, getting on each other's nerves just when you feel you shouldn't, hassling with home repairs, etc.--so compelling. Few prose-only cancer survivors' accounts are as good.

Using his singular reporting skills, and his annoying interpersonal skills, he gets all the answers allright. Too bad these answers may send him straight to an INSANE ASYLUM. How cruel is Man? Published in 1988 by the indie comic book company Blackthorne, this has an EXTREMELY LOW PRINT RUN because this was a period where very little in the way of Star Wars product was still being produced.
Star Wars 3-D is an unusual and long-forgotten title. Commemorating the 10th anniversary of the release of Star Wars, it was one of the few titles published in the United States outside the offices of Marvel or Dark Horse. Undoubtedly the reason it went to Blackthorne in the first place was because they had built experience publishing in 3-D prior to obtaining their limited Star Wars license. Lucas, as his recent efforts to convert the existing movies into 3-D attests, was likely fascinated by the prospect of doing something "special" for the anniversary. And so Star Wars went briefly to a minor publisher.
it stood alone for around 20 years as the only comic printed after the completion of the original trilogy which was set entirely between Episodes IV and V. Indeed, there are few novels which have been published in that period.
And its stories did attempt to add something new to the mythos. It rationally answered questions that were largely ignored by the trilogy:
• Who got the Lars farm on Tatooine after Luke? • Following the destruction of the first Death Star, did the Rebels really have time to build that base on Hoth all by themselves? • And when, really, was the first time Luke did battle with Darth Vader?
Luke and Han depart Tatooine following their last 3-D adventure.
They head back to the Rebel base on Yavin 4, only to find it encircled by Imperial forces. Han craftily lands the Falcon near one of the Rebel bases on the planet, but it's abandoned. The duo lift off again, hoping that a coded message from Leia will lead them to the fleet's location. It does, but Leia and the other leaders are now desperate to find a new base. Han suggests Hoth, an ice planet far removed from normal space traffic.
Leia approves a plan to scout the planet for possible habitability. Heading out into the snow, the duo take the Rebels' first, tentative steps on Hoth.
Unbeknownst to both, smuggler Salmakk has made Hoth his home. From his base, he plans to capture Han and turn him in for Jabba's still-unclaimed bounty.
How Luke and Han get out of their first tricky situation on Hoth paves the way for the foundation of Echo Base . . . This item was not sold in any mass market retail outlet and could only be found in comic book specialty stores.
