JOHN TOBLER is a rock music historian, 1 broadcaster, author and journalist who is well known on both sides of the Atlantic. A regular contributor to Rock On on BBC Radio One as well as to other programmes for the BBC national and world series, he wrote the script for 'The Jethro Tull Story' and '25 Years of Rock', and co-wrote the series 'Summer of 67', 'The 1 Record Producers', and 'Guitar Greats'. He has I written books on Elvis Presley, Cliff Richard, Buddy Holly, and The Doors, amongst others, and is the author of 25 Years of Rock.
As a journalist he has written for numerous publications world-wide, including Melody Maker, New Musical Express, Record Mirror, Sounds, and Zigzag.
