BATMAN VS JUDGE DREDD GRAPHIC NOVEL!

RARE and OUT OF PRINT.

HARD TO FIND COLLECTORS ITEM FOR FANS OF JUDGE DREDD AND BATMAN.

This second meeting of Batman and Judge Dredd starts when Dredd appears out of nowhere and engages Batman in battle with no warning and less explanation. Meanwhile, the Ventriloquist is loose in the city, planting his dummy Scarface as a doll in a school play. Why go to the trouble? Because a senator, whose daughter is in the play, will be in attendance at the play’s premiere—and Scarface is stuffed with explosive, working as a remote-controlled bomb.

It’s the sort of caper that Batman would undoubtedly be busy stopping—except that he presently has got his hands full fending off Dredd, a lawman from the future who seems determined to beat the life out of him!

2000 A.D. MONTHLY #1 COMIC BOOK!

RARE and OUT OF PRINT. COVER BY BRIAN BOLLAND (BATMAN THE KILLING JOKE).

HARD TO FIND COLLECTORS ITEM WITH A STORY WRITTEN BY ALAN MOORE (THE ACCLAIMED WRITER OF THE WATCHMEN)!

D.R. and Quinch is a comic strip created by Alan Moore and Alan Davis. The strip was the tale of how two alien teenage students Waldo "D.R." (for "Diminished Responsibility") Dobbs, a scheming criminal mastermind (who with his pointed ears, green flesh, and furrowed chin, resembled a Skrull), and Ernest Errol Quinch, his muscular purple skinned companion in crime, have influenced Earth's history in various anarchic ways.

Also includes a JUDGE DREDD story and a STRONTIUM DOG story.

Presenting stories from the legendary British comic series, 2000 A.D., this title is a hyperactive romp through an ultra-violent future. Starring Judge Dredd, the final word in law enforcement officers, it also included backup stories featuring Strontium Dog, and a couple of high-tech, homicidal, joy-riding aliens named D.R. (for “Diminished Responsibility”) and Quinch.

For all its quirkiness, 2000 A.D. Monthly is a terribly funny black comedy. It comes highly recommended for anyone capable of thinking of a thorium bomb as a comic prop.

The stories in this issue were presented for the first time in FULL COLOR!
