MICRONAUTS #1 COMIC BOOK.
VINTAGE MARVEL
The idea for the Micronauts came from a line of toys popular in the late 1970s. In doing this series, Marvel had the chance to make a really terrible comic book, but somehow resisted the opportunity. Instead, the Micronauts was a surprisingly strong series which brought a whole new dimension, the “Microverse,” to the Marvel Universe.
The Micronauts chronicles the struggle of a band of freedom fighters as they battle the empire’s “dog-soldiers” and the dread Baron Karza. Taking place in a microcosmic world somehow located within our own, the six rebels battle against impossible odds, in a war that occasionally spills over into our own dimension.

KHAN. A Retro Action Figure depicting actor RICARDO MONTALBAN as the legendary villian KHAN in the original STAR TREK episode THE SPACE SEED.
DST is excited to announce the first exclusive release in the ongoing line of retro-inspired Star Trek cloth figures will be one of Captain Kirk’s most dangerous foes – the nefarious Khan Noonien Singh! This limited figure is based on his debut appearance in the classic episode “Space Seed.” The figure was sculpted by and is manufactured in conjunction with Emce Toys!
The first completely original design to join the ranks of the Star Trek retro cloth figure line, Khan features the same articulation and detail, making this a must-have figure for fans of the original Mego toy line as well as DST’s new line of releases.
Genetically engineered during Earth’s Eugenics Wars centuries earlier, Khan attempted to gain the crew’s trust and take over the Enterprise for his own purposes. Barely stopped by Captain James T. Kirk, Khan was exiled to the distant Ceti Alpha V and forgotten. Refusing to abandon his quest for vengeance, Khan would later return and again almost destroy the Enterprise – this time claiming Spock as a casualty.

DESIGNED BY ALEX ROSS, BASED ON THE ART OF BATMAN CREATOR BOB KANE.
Definitely the coolest thing to come out of Hasbro in awhile is this representation of the very first design of Batman, from his first appearance, in Detective Comics #27, which the figure is based upon. The figure was designed by current comic wunderkind, Alex Ross, and comes with a batarang and a way cool cape that has a wire structure allowing you to shape it all kinds of ways.
It was released by Hasbro and utilized the body they introduced for their DC Super Heroes collector’s line. At the time, both DC and Marvel (through Toy Biz) were getting “Mego-like” treatment in series aimed at collectors and kids. This Batman was designed by uber-artist Alex Ross and based on Bob Kane’s original interpretation of Batman.
