SPACE GHOST GRAPHIC NOVEL VINTAGE STEVE RUDE ALEX TOTH ANIMATED COAST TO COAST!!

SPACE GHOST GRAPHIC NOVEL

A NEW SPACE GHOST ADVENTURE.

Featuring lavish full color art printed on high quality paper. Published by Comico in 1987.

Long before he assumed the persona of a late-night talk show host, Space Ghost was the Man. Alex Toth created Space Ghost for a Hanna-Barbera cartoon show that CBS premiered on September 10, 1966. What made it so neat was an interesting combination: with seven minutes to save the universe, Space Ghost couldn’t waste time. Characters didn’t stand around so the cartoons raced along at top speed. Maybe the main reason was Space Ghost himself. We knew nothing about him. He was driven to protect the cosmos from the likes of Metallus and Brak, that he had a secret headquarters, a sleek spaceship and possessed the Power-Bands. That he just looked like a hero, soaring through the stars, with Gary Owens‚ distinctive voice shouting out “Spaaaaace Ghost!”
