FIRST ISSUE of the ORIGINAL SILVERHAWKS Comic Book that were published by Marvel/Star Comics in the eighties! based on a Rankin/Bass cartoon show. The Silverhawks are a group of spacefaring cyborgs that live on a world called Hawkhaven. Led by Commander Stargazer, they are able to fly across space to take on the bad guys, the chief of the bad guys is Mon*Star, who can pump himself up into an armored configuration when supplied with enough power.
Rankin/Bass followed up their successful Thundercats series with this series about a team of human heroes in the 29th century who were given metal bodies and hawk wings to stop organized crime in the Galaxy of Limbo.
