TONY MONTANA IS BACK IN
SCARFACE: SCARRED FOR LIFE

When we last saw Cuban exile and Miami gangster Tony Montana, his cocaine-fueled body was riddled with bullets in the 1983 Brian DePalma cinematic classic, Scarface. Now, IDW Publishing proudly presents the second coming of Tony Montana in the sequel to the end-all-be-all of gangster movies with an all-new comic book series—Scarface: Scarred for Life.

The blood-soaked tale picks up where the movie left off, as Tony Montana survives—you read that right—but just barely. Having lost almost everything—including very nearly his life—Tony must once again claw his way to the top of the sun-drenched Florida underworld. If the odds were stacked against the gangster before, he now stands in the shadow of odds stacked twice as high.

In this tender, touching issue, Tony Montana discovers the joys of gardening, being a scout leader, and reading books quietly in the park meadow nearby his favorite church. Who are we freaking kidding? A lot of people want Tony Montana dead, and Tony's gonna cuss up a storm, snort up a small mountain of drugs, and shoot in the face anybody who ticks him off!

Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas (Paperback)
by Frank Thompson (Author)

1ST PRINT. 1ST EDITION SOFTCOVER. 1993.

Book Description
An in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at this 1993 animated holiday film.

This year's holiday animation release from Walt Disney is a real departure for the studio. The first major movie done entirely in three-dimensional stop-action animation, Nightmare before Christmas is the macabre story of Jack Skellington, "the Pumpkin King of Halloween," who is so delighted when he discovers Christmas that he decides to take over the role of Santa Claus. Tim Burton (Batman, Beetlejuice) came up with the idea 10 years ago when he worked as an animator at Disney during a more straitlaced era; since, things have loosened up enough at the studio for Burton to get the green light on his pet project. This volume, timed to coincide with Nightmare's theatrical release, chronicles the film from its inception through all stages of production, with commentary from Burton and the other creators. It's loaded with artwork ranging from Burton's original sketches through scenes from the finished film. The groundbreaking movie is a commercially and artistically risky venture, but considering the track record of Burton and the success of Disney's recent animated features, it might just become a holiday perennial; if so, libraries would do well to have this print tie-in on hand.

RICHARD CORBEN DEN #10 COMIC BOOK

For fans of RICHARD CORBEN's unique style of extreme Fantasy and Horror. A RARE and VINTAGE Underground Comic Book with lavish full color artwork printed on high quality paper.

Richard Corben returns to his most famous creation... DEN the sexy fantasy series which began in the seventies, serialized in HEAVY METAL magazine, and was eventually adapted in the eighties HEAVY METAL animated movie.
Den is an Earthman who finds himself stranded on a barbaric fantasy world full of monsters and wizards. Den searches for his missing lover, Kath, meeting characters from the previous stories in a tale which also encompasses a parallel quest for magical stones of power owned by an evil wizard. There’s an almost photographic feel to Corben’s drawing, which is strangely at odds with the grotesque monsters that populate his strips. The strong coloring and lettering styles play an important role, producing a sexy moodiness in the artwork.

RICHARD CORBEN (b. 1940) is one of the best-known fantasy artists in the world. In 1970 he self-published FANTAGOR, a science fiction/horror comic, and later worked on Underground comix such as SLOW DEATH. In the early '70s he drew many stories for the Warren line (CREEPY, EERIE, VAMPIRELLA), and finally came Métal Hurlant, the French magazine released in America as HEAVY METAL, for whom Corben did many memorable stories.
