When an alien spaceship crashed on Macross Island, it had a profound effect upon humanity. Suddenly shocked into realizing that they were not alone in the universe, the various races of man agreed to cease their fighting, and band together instead. They built upon the technology found in the wrecked spaceship, calling it “Robotech.”
Many years later, Robotech would face its greatest challenge, when it encounters the Zentraedi, a warlike alien race. Hopelessly outnumbered by the Zentraedi warships, the Robotech warriors must somehow beat the odds if Earth is to survive.
