Mickey stood at the ready on his pedestal, receiver in hand and a smile on his face. He announced incoming calls, not simply with a ring but with his trademark enthusiasm. "Oh, boy! A phone call!" he'd say. Or else, "Gee, I wonder who it can be?"
It was the smart phone of its time--and probably the cheeriest phone of all time!
