TRANSFORMERS #3 COMIC BOOK VS SPIDER-MAN VINTAGE MARVEL 1984 OPTIMUS PRIME
TRANSFORMERS VINTAGE #3 COMIC BOOK.
The ORIGINAL TRANSFORMERS Comic Book that was published by Marvel Comics in the eighties!
In this issue: the TRANSFORMERS battles SPIDER-MAN.
On a faraway world in the Alpha Centauri system, there existed a world known as Cybertron. There, through a strange process of carbon-bonding, a race of mechanical beings called Autobots evolved, eventually transforming their world into a paradise.
But one group, the Decepticons, were not content with their peaceful life, and launched a deadly war for control of Cybertron. After a terrible global conflict, the Decepticons were on the verge of total defeat when they changed plans suddenly and fled to Earth. There they disguised themselves in other forms, such as cars and planes. But at a moment’s notice, they could once again transform into terrible machines of destruction. To save Earth from their ravages, the Autobots were also forced to come to Earth to battle their age-old enemy.
The Transformers derived from a popular line of toys.
For a comic book based on a line of toys, The Transformers retained its popularity for a remarkable length of time. The comic’s initial run lasted for over seven years—eighty issues in all. In that time, the heroes—a team of mechanical beings called the Autobots—waged a desperate war against the evil transformers known as the Decepticons, led by the dreaded Megatron.
