But even as her fellow humans are being systematically eliminated by the machines, a woman soldier discovers the source of their peril. The machines could not have become sentient by themselves: they learned how thanks to the work done in the 1990s to turn Alex Murphy into Robocop. The woman uses SkyNet’s own technology to travel back to 20th century Detroit. Her goal: to kill Alex Murphy. By fashioning a plasma rifle out of 20th century components, she actually succeeds. But even as their timeline fades away, the machines send a Terminator back in time to the exact moment where the woman ambushed Robocop, and it kills her instead. With her dying words, she tells Robocop that thanks to him, the future is lost. In reality, the struggle is just beginning. Synopsis: Under interrogation the future solider tells the detectives the truth. The detectives do not believe her in till the terminator head and ray gun disapear. Meanwhile the Terminators collect Robocop's head and plug him in and he sees it all the death, chaos, and geneocide. Finally he is able to find a weak link in the system and thus is reborn in to the future. Featuring lavish artwork printed on high quality paper! Itto Ogami was once the official executioner for a Japanese shogun. This was a position of extreme power and was coveted by all, especially the Yagyu clan. This scheming family framed Ogami for treason, toppling him from his position, and throwing him into a state of dishonor. When ordered to commit ritual suicide (seppuku), Ogami fought back, killing all present. The Yagyu clan retaliated by killing Ogami’s wife.

Ogami now wanders throughout Japan with his infant son, Daigoro, always plotting to return and exact his revenge. Uniquely, Ogami is often forced to fight with his son strapped to his back.

Lone Wolf and Cub (Kozuri Okami) was originally printed in Japan, and was brought to the U.S. and translated by First Comics. The English edition featured cover artwork by Frank Miller

Pits Bob Kane's classic creation Batman against Todd McFarlane's Spawn (a product of Image Comics). It is a companion piece to Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.

It begins with Batman investigating Russian technology that someone is using to turn Gotham City street bums into killer cyborgs. Meanwhile in Manhattan, Al Simmons (a.k.a. Spawn) is haunted by a figure from a bloody war of his past who now is masquerading as an angel of mercy. Batman encounters Spawn just as Spawn incinerates two would-be murderers who were trying to kill him. This, understandably, gives Batman the wrong message about Spawn, setting off their conflict.
