BATTLEFIELDS: DEAR BILLY #1 COMIC BOOK

OUT OF PRINT. HARD TO FIND COLLECTOR'S ITEM

More incredible stories from Garth Ennis as his 'BATTLEFIELDS' series continues exclusively from DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT! For this series - DEAR BILLY - Garth is joined by artist Peter Snjeberg and cover artist John Cassaday for a haunting tale of wartime in 1942... 1942: In the tropical splendour of the South China sea, as the Second World War spreads across the far east, a young woman finds herself in paradise... and then in hell. Nurse Carrie Sutton is caught up in the Japanese invasion of Singapore, suffering horrors beyond her wildest nightmares- and survives. Now she attempts to start her life anew, buoyed up by a growing friendship with a wounded pilot- only for fate to deliver up the last thing she ever expected. Carrie at last has a chance for revenge... but should she take it? In the midst of a world torn apart by war, you can fight and you can win- but you still might not get the things you truly want.

THIS ITEM WAS ONLY AVAILABLE IN COMIC BOOK SPECIALTY SHOPS AND CANNOT BE FOUND IN ANY MASS MARKET RETAIL OUTLET.

Garth Ennis is probably best known for his hard-hitting but historically accurate and empathetic War Stories, fictionalising the heroics of War without shying too far away from the immense destructive force of modern warfare.

From the acclaimed writer of the hit series PREACHER, these are the finest war comics ever to see print in the modern age.

Ennis’s enthusiasm for the genre and respect for his subject matter shines through, leaving the reader with stories of 20th century warfare that are unlikely to leave them when the book is closed.

PEARL HARBOR THE COMIC BOOK #1 WORLD WAR 2 USA JAPAN!!!

PEARL HARBOR THE COMIC BOOK #1

OUT OF PRINT. HARD TO FIND COLLECTOR'S ITEM.

On December 7th, 1941, a combined Imperial Japanese Navy air force attacked Hawaii, with devastating results. The disaster propelled and united America into total retaliation that resulted in the atomic holocausts of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. And yet, most of us have only seen the tip of the iceberg on the voyage that led to Pearl Harbor. In recognition of the upcoming 60th anniversary of the event, and based on newly discovered and declassified information, Pearl Harbor: The Comic Book will present the most accurate account of these events to date, adding the lesser-known stories. Written and drawn by Luftwaffe/World War II/Kamikaze: 1946 artist Ted Nomura, whose family fought on the Japanese side, and is a serving member in the U.S. armed forces. This situation gives him the unique opportunity of a non-biased view of this important chapter in U.S. history. Part 1 covers the road that led to the destruction of the battleship USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor.

Also includes a Forward describing the background history of diplomatic and political relations between the United States and Japan that would eventually lead to Pearl Harbor.

No fictional characters will be used in this special true-to-history edition, because truth is indeed stranger than fiction!
THIS ITEM WAS ONLY AVAILABLE IN COMIC BOOK SPECIALTY SHOPS AND CANNOT BE FOUND IN ANY MASS MARKET RETAIL OUTLET.

Vivid beautifully drawn and colored by Nomura who is a master of the war genre in graphic novels. Although not a movie tie in it was published at the same time as the movie "Pearl Harbor" was released.

Product Description
Kaiju Big Battel, a series of live events that revolve around tournament-style performances, is a tongue-in-cheek hybrid of Japanese-monster-movie mayhem and lowbrow pop-culture. These sold-out events feature a roster of over thirty monsters battling in a modern conflict of epic proportions.

Kaiju Big Battel, the official guide, will provide an overview of the Kaiju universe, principally the key monsters and the epic battles, for devoted fans and new readers alike. In addition to a 16-page full-color insert of Kaiju studio photographs and a glossary, Kajiu Big Battel will be ornamented with a safety manual, weapon profiles and a guide to the inner workings of the Kaiju world. A crash course in everything Kaiju, readers would be well-advised to pay careful attention as those uneducated in monster mayhem could be imperiled next time Kaiju Big Battel erupts in their neighborhood!

The Big Battel Rages on in the Kaiju Universe!

Planet Earch is under threat. Scattered throughout the galaxy is a monstrous mob of maniacal villians, alien beasts, and city-crushing monsters that are waging a war against one another. In a recent New Year's Eve Kaiju Big Battel, Kung-Fu Chicken Noodle defeated RoBox:

"Kung-Fu Chicken Noodle couldn't wait for the ball to drop to avenge his shocking loss to the newest Kaiju Hero, RoBox, at Kaiju Rampage New York. As Louden Noxious counted down to the stroke of midnight, the killer klucker burst into the Danger Cage and began to lay waste to the snow-covered cityscape. Seeing this wanton destruction, newly constructed Kaiju Hero, RoBox rushed the Cage to put a shop to the terror. This was perhaps the robotic Hero's biggest mistake of the night.

Fresh from an extended stay in China with his sensei, Mr. Wong, Soup unleashed a barrage of devastating new maneuvers upon Kung-Fu Chicken Noodle. High-flying flips and crushing corkscrews quickly overloaded RoBox's circuts and the new Hero was unable to mount any signifigant counter attack. Finally Soup delivered the Bouillion Back Flip for the pin, earning the right to fufill his new year's resolutions: to kill again!"
