Since the birth of the Marine Corps on November 10, 1775 the Whittier Family has served their corps and country, This is their story.

The Marine Corps has been a vital fighting force for the U.S. in every battle and war since 1775. This series focuses on the rough-and-ready adventures of the brave men in the Marines as seen from the eyes of a member of the Whittier family. The family had served the mighty force since the American Revolution, and in every war since. Now you can see for yourself what it must have been like to hide from the Viet Cong in the home of a Vietnamese stranger whom you can’t quite trust, or be one of the few who manages to take Tarawa Atoll in World War II when your best friend has just been killed as he was standing beside you.

The title, short for semper fidelis (Latin for “always faithful”) is the Marine Corps motto.

This comic book was never available to the mass market and was only sold in comic book specialty shops.
