As such, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Yummy Fur is both thought-provoking and incredibly hard to describe. It’s a blend of slapstick, grotesques, empathy, and scatology. Its stories freely mix secret agents from alternate Earths with spontaneously exploding women and cannibalism. Sometimes, it seems that the whole point of the series is to cheese off the establishment. Its tackling of religion in “Mark” is a prime example of this. A challenging, and somewhat obscure series, Yummy Fur comes recommended by such comics cognoscenti as Neil Gaiman (Sandman).
