Street Fighter II #0 tells the tale of Ryu from his childhood training with Ken, the murder of his martial arts master, Gouken. His journey to exact retribution upon his master's murderer, Akuma. Through his worldwide quest, Ryu will face fighters from different disciplines world and also a dark, vengeful power welling within him that Gouken's death stirred.

In the 90s, gamers across the country spent millions of their hard-earned quarters at the arcade and made Street Fighter II one of the most popular video games of all time. Years later, many comic book readers probably still remember how to make Ryu execute a dragon punch or flying spin kick. In this sequel to Udon’s first Street Fighter series, the characters and events follow the designs and back stories established in the video game that first introduced the world to Guile, Chun Li, and M. Bison.

Arguably, the key secret to the success of Street Fighter II lies behind the strong characterization applied to the central figures—anybody who is familiar with the video game likely bonds with at least one of the colorful fighters because they can find something to identify with him (or her). For the popular fighting game to carry over into the comics medium was a complete natural.

A MUST HAVE for all Die Hard Street Fighter fans.

In this sequel to Udon’s first Street Fighter series, the characters and events follow the designs and back stories established in the video game that first introduced the world to Guile, Chun Li, and M. Bison.

Titans clash in Street Fighter II as Bison and Rose wage a bitter battle for the fate of Cammy, revealing their mysterious connection to the agent of MI-6. Meanwhile, Ryu faces an equally fierce battle as he wrestles with the opposing forces within him. How will he utilize what he has learned from Gen and Dhalsim, and how will they effect the ultimate decision he must make… to honor his master by upholding his teachings, or avenging him by using a power he had expressly forbidden? It is a decision that Ryu will need to make soon as the long awaited Street Fighter II Tournament begins!
