JEFF SMITH'S BONE SOURCEBOOK.

RARE PROMOTIONAL ITEM! INCLUDES FULL COLOR PULL OUT POSTER DRAWN BY JIM LEE (Featuring the BONES and Jim Lee's WILDCATS)!

(1995, Image Comics, 16 pages with wrap-around cover) This was a free promotional book given out at 1995 San Diego Comic-con and it also polybagged with Wizard Mag. This sourcebook was published to celebrate the move of the BONE series from self-publishing to Image Comics.

It includes an Introduction by Jeff Smith & biography, character profiles, color poster by Jim Lee, story timeline, upcoming storyline, and shipping schedule.

Jeff Smith created a classic funnybook for the nineties, combining Walt Disney/Chuck Jones-style artwork with strong storytelling and characterization. Bone is the story of a little character called Fone Bone. Originally from Boneville, he finds himself trapped in our world along with relatives Phoney Bone and Smiley Bone. This gaggle of characters has a host of adventures (and misadventures) while searching for a way back home.

Winner of numerous awards including the 1994 Eisner for Best New Series and the 1995 Eisner for Best Continuing Series, Bone has appeal for young and old alike.
Published in 1995 by Image Comics.
