BLACK SPIDER-MAN #1 COMIC BOOK AFRICAN AMERICAN LATINO HISPANIC ULTIMATE NEW HOT

ULTIMATE COMIC SPIDER-MAN #1.

MARVEL COMIC BOOK starring African American Hispanic Spider-Man!

Brand New Factory Sealed.

From USA Today
http://www.usatoday.com/life/comics/2011-08-01-black-spider-man_n.htm

Half-black, half-Hispanic Spider-Man revealed
We have an African-American president, so why not an African-American Spider-Man, too?

Revealed in Marvel Comics' Ultimate Fallout Issue 4, out Wednesday, the new Spider-Man in the Ultimate universe is a half-black, half-Hispanic teen named Miles Morales. He takes over the gig held by Peter Parker, who was killed in Ultimate Spider-Man Issue 160 in June.

In his first appearance, he simply breaks up a fight. But readers will learn the true origin of Morales and how he became the new Spider-Man when Ultimate Spider-Man relaunches in September with a new No. 1 issue.

"The theme is the same: With great power comes great responsibility," says writer Brian Michael Bendis. "He's going to learn that. Then he has to figure out what that means."

Morales' journey will be a similar vehicle for today's fans, says Marvel's editor in chief, Axel Alonso.

"What you have is a Spider-Man for the 21st century who's reflective of our culture and diversity. We think that readers will fall in love with Miles Morales the same way they fell in love with Peter Parker."

In addition to an alliterative name, Miles has a connection to his predecessor in how he received his powers. But he will have different abilities, too. Supporting characters such as Peter's Aunt May and Gwen Stacy also will give Miles nuggets of wisdom to help his transition from young kid to New York City superhero.

A very quirky book. This is done not to be outright laugh out loud funny, but if you take that sort of Mystery Men style, cross it with Yes Minister or even the My Hero tv show, and inject some of the pathos from the Wild Cards anthology style with many writers, you are somewhere in the ballpark. Power range from the unnoticeable Invisible Boy to a guy who can turn into a giant frog (that can't swim), to the far more powerful human erectile man, and nasty illusion casters.

Well, hardly any.Born in England, he now makes his home in America, in a big dark house of uncertain location where he grows exotic pumpkins and accumulates computers and cats. BLACK PANTHER 3 COMIC BOOKS #1 MARVEL 1ST BLACK HERO!!!

BLACK PANTHER 3 COMIC BOOKS.
#1, #2, and #3.

THE FIRST BLACK SUPERHERO!!!

written by REGINALD HUDLIN.

The Black Panther (T'Challa) is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics universe who is the first modern Black superhero. Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and penciller-co-plotter Jack Kirby, he first appeared in Fantastic Four #52 (July 1966).

3 Comic Books published by Marvel Comics, the creators of such beloved superheroes a SPIDERMAN, THE HULK, X-MEN, CAPTAIN AMERICA, IRON MAN and of course THE FANTASTIC FOUR!

The Wakandan super hero is back with Hollywood heavyweight Hudlin (HOUSE PARTY, BOOMERANG) and fan favorite Romita Jr. (WOLVERINE, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN), teaming up to deliver a new ongoing series that's sure to excite true believers and the hip hop faithful. The Black Panther's origin is retold in a cinematic scope with social satire and all-out action. Marvel has big plans for the Panther. He's destined to become a key player in the Marvel Universe this year, so reader, get on board now! 32 PGS

While a team of super-powered mercenaries prepares their assault on Wakanda, a contest is underway in that warrior kingdom: Who will be the next Black Panther?

Many years ago, Klaw killed the reigning Black Panther ? but not without a price. Learn how he did it.... as he readies himself for the death of T'challa!

Since his introduction to the Marvel universe, the Black Panther has fought alongside just about every major hero, both on his own and as a member of the Avengers. He has also fought for justice in several of his own series and miniseries, including a 1988 multi-issue story in Marvel Comics Presents, in which he ventured into an apartheid-era South Africa to find his mother... a rather dangerous time and place for a black man in a mask to be.

Indeed, Black Panther's adventures have often involved racial tensions, ecological issues, and conflicts between ancient cultures and Western nations. And given his identity as a king and an African, this is understandable. But the important thing to note is that, unlike the racist comic characters that came before him, he is not defined solely by his skin color or nationality; he is a product of the belief that every person should be judged by his or her words and actions, and not by the color of their skin.

The Black Panther is the ceremonial title given to the chief of the Panther Tribe of the African nation of Wakanda. In addition to ruling the country, he is also chief of its various tribes (collectively referred to as the Wakandas). The Panther uniform is a symbol of office (head of state) and is used even during diplomatic missions.

The Black Panther is entitled to the use of a heart-shaped herb that grants the person who consumes it enhanced strength, agility, and perception. The present-day bearer of the Black Panther mantle is T'Challa, who has had a lengthy career as a superhero, including a longstanding membership in The Avengers, alongside heroes such as CAPTAIN AMERICA, IRON MAN and THOR.

DAVID LETTERMAN MEETS THE AVENGERS COMIC BOOK.

VINTAGE COLLECTOR'S ITEM!

MARVEL COMICS PUBLISHED THE VERY FIRST COMIC BOOK APPEARANCE OF DAVID LETTERMAN IN 1980's.

Perhaps you've been following the David Letterman extortion/sex scandal. Perhaps you caught his on-air mea culpa, where the late night host apologized to his wife, his staff, and even Sarah Palin.

But there's one more person to whom David Letterman owes an apology: A poor, hapless supervillain whom he publicly shamed on his NBC "Late Night" show way back in 1984.

You see, David Letterman once hit the Mechano-Marauder with a giant doorknob.
Spoiled brat techno-wiz, Fabian Stankowicz (Mechano-Marauder, a joke villain from issues 217 and 221), has a new plan for getting revenge on The Avengers. Upon learning that Wonder Man’s agent has arranged for a number of Avengers, plus Hawkeye who’s currently on active-duty, to appear on the David Letterman Show, Fabian sneaks and rigs the studio with his gadgets, before showtime. During the show, The Avengers are attacked by a ray-beam camera, heat-seeking missiles, and a omnium steel, gravimetrically powered steamroller. While The Avengers are thus occupied, Fabian invites himself to sit in the guest’s seat, where he gloats to David Letterman and the home audience, about what he’s doing and how he’s doing it. The Black Widow makes a try for Fabian, but he has a force-field around himself and his celebrity interviewer. The Avengers wreck the gadgets, and since David Letterman is the only one inside the force-field with Fabian, it’s up to him to knock out the bad guy. He does it with an oversized doorknob. Boink!

SUPERMAN MAN OF STEEL #1
SILVER INK LOGO VARIANT EDITION.
COLLECTORS EDITION FIRST ISSUE COMIC BOOK.

Featuring the origin of SUPERMAN!

This 1986 series began a major overhaul of the Superman legend. Artist/writer John Byrne retold the origin of Superman, only this time, the Man of Steel was different. As a baby Kal-El was still sent off into space, escaping the destruction of the planet Krypton. Only this time, he was the only escapee. Kara (Supergirl) and the assorted people in the bottle city of Kandor didn’t make it. The stories featuring them were said to have happened in another reality—giving us, in effect, retroactive continuity.

And there’s more: Superman never really discovered his powers until he was nearly 18, thus the adventures of Superboy never took place (and led to the TV series SMALLVILLE). And, even now that he’s Superman, his powers are nowhere near the level they were in the stories of yore. This new “Superman of the 80s” came as a shock to many fans, but it ultimately laid the groundwork for a new level of characterization.

Published by DC Comics.

ASH WILLIAMS THE WISE CRACKING HERO OF THE EVIL DEAD/ARMY OF DARKNESS TRILOGY RETURNS IN THIS ALL NEW COMIC BOOK STORYLINE PITTING HIM AGAINST ZOMBIE MARVEL SUPERHEROES!
The cross-over no one asked for -- or expected -- is finally here! Too big for the movie of television screen, Dynamite and Marvel presents the ultimate "Why Not?" tale as Ash and Army of Darkness/Evil Dead meets undead versions of SPIDERMAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA, THE AVENGERS, THE PUNISHER, THE X-MEN and many more MARVEL SUPERHEROES that have been ZOMBIFIED.

With lavish, full color artwork printed on high quality glossy paper!
Writer John Layman says...
“It is absolutely a Marvel Zombies story, and it is absolutely an Army of Darkness story. Fortunately, I think there is a lot of overlap, because they both contain a generous (even excessive) heaping of humor with horror, comedy with the grotesque. This is a story of a guy who is used to fighting the undead, who is used to being a hero, flung into a strange universe full of heroes …heroes who are not only all crazed flesh-eating zombies, but ones with hundreds of different crazy super-powers.

“How's a guy with a chainsaw, a shotgun, and a smart mouth supposed to survive that?”

That said, Layman told us it’s also a typical AoD story in that it shows Ash facing “impossible odds, and up against horrific adversaries”…

“But for Marvel Zombies fans, it's another look into the hilariously twisted world of man-eating zombie superheroes,” Layman explained, “shown from almost a Marvels-style man-on-the-street perspective as the infection spreads out of control. Only, in this case, the man-on-the-street happens to be Ashley J. Williams, vanquisher of the Necromonmicon's Army of Darkness, who defeated evil in several different millennia in several different realities. Now he's in the Marvel U. It's him and his chainsaw vs. hundred of zombie superheroes...

Extremely rare issues, published by DYNAMITE COMICS. Highly sought after.

Product Description

MARVEL SWIMSUIT MAGAZINE 1994

ADAM HUGHES SEXY PAINTED COVER FEATURING INVISIBLE WOMAN AND NAMOR!!!

For fans of ADAM HUGHES! This is a fantastic magazine featuring a sexy cover by ADAM HUGHES!

Blame it on Sports Illustrated, if you like. Their annual swimsuit special transports a crew of models to exotic beaches to model minimal swimwear. Not surprisingly, the swimsuit special sells far more than any other issue of the magazine.

In 1992, Marvel decided to copy SI’s success by launching their own swimsuit special. This all-pinup book features scantily clad heroes, both male and female, as rendered by some of the finest artists in the business. These include the brothers Hildebrandt, Joe Jusko, P. Craig Russell, and countless others.

Many decry the obvious use of sex appeal to sell comics. On the upside, these specials did attract at least a few female readers—even if they were writing in to gush over the scantily clad physique of Thor.
